This week we wanted to highlight an outstanding Goldendoodle named Murphy.
We have been friends with Murphy since 2019, and we have been so thankful to work with him.
Murphy was adopted as a puppy in January 2013. Murphy's owner, Stephanie, says "Our world revolves around this curly mutt." Stephanie says, that Murphy was a challenging puppy, but with the help of Jessi Lane of ROC Animal Training and Behavior, he was certified as both a Canine Good Citizen and a Therapy Dog before his 2nd birthday. Murphy had many assignments as a therapy dog, but the most notable was being the very first therapy dog for Moore Public Schools. Murphy and Stephanie were the official therapy dog team at South Lakes Elementary for 2 years where they volunteered in the Special Education classrooms twice each week. during their time at South Lakes, a club was created called “Murphy’s Kindness Club”. He has been featured in OKC Pets magazine and was also on a local TV segment.
After several years of touching hearts of all ages, Murphy is “retired” from his volunteer work. Stephanie shared, "As he approaches his 12th birthday, we are thankful to have Dr. Roach help us make sure Murph has the best quality of life. Dr. Roach thinks outside of the box and finds solutions when it seems like we’ve already tried everything. His proactive and creative approach to vet care is top-notch."
Murphy has received a variety of treatments from us, ranging from chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, biological therapy, and ozone therapy. We are honored that we have been able to work with an awesome dog with awesome owners since 2019.
