Melanoma Has Nothing on Lola

Lola was born around January 2011. Lola's owner Ashley shared that Lola was abandoned when she was only a few months old. She was fostered in OKC. When she went unclaimed for 30+ days, Ashley adopted her. Lola grew up with two chihuahua siblings and has been the gentlest, sweetest dog Ashley has ever known.

In June 2023, Lola was diagnosed by another clinic with malignant oral melanoma. While seeking alternative treatment for Lola, Ashley found Dr. Roach. Lola has been receiving supportive care for her melanoma. She has also been receiving care for, in Ashley's words, "regular old lady pup stuff" such as hip dysplasia and arthritis. Ashley shared, "Lola has been doing really well, outliving all prior prognoses, and only recently have we seen cancer regrowth."

Lola came in a few days ago for a melanoma mass removal. The mass removal was successful and Lola is currently in recovery. We are so thankful to work with such an awesome dog and an awesome owner!
